Khartoum-Sudan Liberation Army of Minni Minnawi (SLA-MM) stressed it has shelled the airport of the capital of South Darfur capital, Nyala, with heavy artillery. Flames were seen inside the airport as a result of the direct bombing.
Eyewitnesses have confirmed the existence of an exchange of fire between exchanges of fire amongst the security officers inside who thought the attack was from within the airport. .
In statement obtained by SudaneseOnline, SLA-MM military spokesman, Adam Salih Abbakar, confirmed that Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) will resume bombing the airport and request from citizens and civilians to stay away from the site.
The statement pointed out that SLA-MM forces have inflicted a crushing defeat on Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and its militias in Morla area on Monday, revealing that they have seized 10 military vehicles, destroyed 13 others along with a tank and killed 100 fighters from the government side.
