Khartoum-Sudan's opposition National Consensus Forces (NCF) and Nafeer, volunteer youth group, warned ofchronic adverse health effects in the coming days because of the accumulation of rain waters, describing the humanitarian, healthy and educational situations as "catastrophic", appealing, at the same time, to the world humanitarian organizations to intervene to provide relief  for those who affected.

At a press conference held on Sunday, the leading figure in Sudan's opposition coalition, Sa'atie Al-Haj, revealed that his Alliance has formed a high-level delegation to visit victims of rains and floods in Sharq Al-Neel (Al-kireiyab– Id Babikir, Al-Uljab, Mara'bei al-shareif and Suba Sharq), pointing out that they met with many people whom their homes were destroyed because of floods and rains.

Al-Haj noted that humanitarian support that reached those affected was popular support only.

For his part, the NCF's chairman of the media committee,  lawyer Kamal Omer, pointed out the absence of the government in  rain-affected areas, but he noted the presence of large numbers of regular forces armed with weapons, sticks, batons, shields and tear gas, stressing that Khartoum's government has lost its legitimacy because of its full absence.

Omer demanded President, Governor, and executive officials to resign because they have committed a fatal error
