Cairo-Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Nabil Fahmi, telephoned on Thursday his South Sudanese counterpart, Barnaba Marial Benjamin, where he congratulate the latter on his appointment as Minister for Foreign Affairs for South Sudan.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry’s spokesman said that the two Ministers talked about ways to support the bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields, as embodiment of brotherly relations between them and between the two peoples.
The spokesman added that Fahmi stressed Egypt’s keenness on supporting the bilateral relations with South Sudan, while South Sudan’s Foreign Minister stressed the value of Egypt for South Sudan and expressed his looking forward to mutual visits in the near future.
