
Khartoum-Sudan’s president, Omer Al-Bashir, has pledged that his government will take more measures and arrangements in region of Darfur to restore security and impose the rule of law and peace across the region.
Following a meeting between him and Al-Bashir, the head of Darfur Regional Authority, Al-Tejani Al-Sisi, told reporters on Wednesday that Al-Bashir has ordered the Ministry of Finance to commit itself to paying obligation regarding Security Arrangements included in Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD)
Al-Sisi added that a number of reports on progress in development in the region and administrative arrangements that were taken to receive Justice and Equality Movement (JEM), signatory to the Doha peace agreement, in addition to another report on security situation in Darfur including tribal clashes and challenges facing Darfur, especially the armed movement.
Al-Sisi pointed out that the meeting of the high committee called for need for completing establishment Darfur development bank.
