Khartoum-Sudanese security services have foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons and ammunition to Egypt were in possession of three Egyptians.
Khartoum-based Al-Rai Al-Aa’am newspaper on Thursday reported that the accused was arrested by a control unit of Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) in Dongola city, north Sudan, where the accused were planning to enter such arms to Egypt.
The paper added that the accused were on their way from Khartoum to Wadi Halfa, pointing out that the first suspect, driver of the car, provided detailed confession.
