Khartoum- Sudan’s Oil Minister, Dr. Awad Al-Jaz, stressed the importance of building confidence between Khartoum and Juba for the cooperation between the two countries.
During his meeting with his South Sudanese counterpart in Khartoum on Sunday, Al-Jaz pointed out that normalization of relations between the two sides will push forward the relations between them on clear basis for the interest of the two nations, indicating the two parties must resolve their pending issues to a enable the continuity of the Cooperation Agreements signed in Addis Ababa last April
For his part, South Sudan Minister of Oil and Minerals noted that there is no problem concerning the return of the relations between the two countries, affirming at the same time his country's keenness to the implementation of the oil agreement, revealing that a technical delegation will shortly arrive to Khartoum to discuss the outstanding issues.
