
Khartoum-United Nations (UN) has revealed that more than (60,000) people have fled the town of Abu Kershola in South Kordofan State.
Abu Kershola was seized from control of the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) at the end of May, after a month-long siege.
report issued by UN said that the fighting in Abu Kershola has displaced 63,000 people, pointing out that some (8,000) people had fled to the capital Khartoum, while (44,000) were seeking shelter in the neighboring state of North Kordofan.
"The security situation remains fragile," the report said.
