Manama-The Bahraini Government announced on Sunday that Sudan’s Government has agreed to grant Bahrain (42,000) hectares of its territory to be allocated to agricultural investment.
According to the official Bahrain News Agency, the Bahraini Cabinet tanked appreciated the Government of the Republic of Sudan for granting the Kingdom of Bahrain lands for agricultural investment.
The Agency pointed out that the Cabinet entrusted the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning to the completion of the special procedures to register the land after its review by the Ministerial Committee for Legislative Affairs.
The Bahraini Cabinet directed the relevant bodies to develop a plan to invest this land to enhance the food security efforts in the Kingdom of Bahrain
