
Doha-The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has directedset uparelief air bridge to take humanitarian supplies to to support people affected by the floods and rains that swept most of cities of Sudan.
This came during a telephone conversation between Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani and Sudanese Interior Minister, Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, in which Al-Thani informed that the Emir of Qatar has directed to set up a relief air bridge to take humanitarian supplies to to support people affected by the floods and rains.
The Qatari official pointed out that the support contains shelter materials, medicines and other aid.
For his part, Sudanese Minister of Interior expressed Government and Sudanese people's appreciation and thanks to the State of Qatar for its continued support for Sudan in all fields, noting that Sudanese-Qatari relations are eternal and developing in all fields, praising the efforts of the State of Qatar in its continuing support for Sudan
