Cairo-South Sudan Ambassador to Egypt, Anthony Kon, has urged Egyptian businessmen to invest in South Sudan and invited the governors of South Sudan’s States to visit Egypt, in coordination with the Governor ofCairoand the ministers ofinvestment, industry andforeign trade, in collaboration with the business community to visit the tourist areasin Egypt.

During his meeting with the Egyptians craftsmen Association,headed byHussein Sabor on Wednesday, Kon revealed that the visit aimsto displaypotentialand opportunities ofinvestment in South Sudanese states and make contacts with the Governor ofCairo to agree on new projects, pointing out that there is a possibilityto transfer money of Egyptian investorsthrough banks.

South Sudan Ambassadorstressed that his countrygivesspecialadvantagesfordevelopmentpartners, pointing to thedecline ofthevalueofthedollarasaresultofoil exports.

He added that South Sudanreceives(500)commercial trucksfrom Uganda, andthe volume of traffic in  JubaAirportrangesbetween 100to140 aircraftper day, calling onEgyptianbusinessmento visit Jubain the coming periodto identifyinvestment opportunities.
