
Khartoum-Sudanese President, Omar al-Bashir, will fly Sunday to the Nigerian capital Abuja to attend the African Union Summit on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria which lasts for two days.
Informed sources told Khartoum-based Al-Youm Al-Tali newspaper on Friday the delegation accompanying the Sudanese President includes Foreign Minister, Health Minister, and Minister of Presidency Affairs, pointing out that the delegation will travel to Abuja to take part in preparatory meetings ahead of the Summit, while the representative of Sudan in African Union would participate in the meetings.
The resources revealed that Al-Bashir would meet on the sidelines of the Summit the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan to discuss support of the bilateral relations between the two countries and Nigerian reconciliation efforts between Sudan and South Sudan, as well as the possibility of achieving peace between the two sides through dialogue and negotiations.
