Khartoum-Sudan’s National Council for Free Zones and Marketsadopted the draft of a regulation on the banks of the Sudanese free zones after it has subjected to further consultation and recommendation of Central Bank of Sudan.
The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Badr al-Din Mahmud, stressed that the regulation aims to organize and sustain the process of banking in the free zones.
Mahmud pointed out that the National Council for Free Zones and Markets approved, during its meeting on Saturday under the chairmanship of Sudan's MinisterofInvestmentatthe Supreme investment Council,Dr.Mustafa Osman Ismail, a report on the work of the Committee in charge of handling goods in free zones, besides draft models for the proposed investments, in accordance with the provisions of the implementing regulations of the law and free markets in Sudan
