Paris-At the invitation of the French Foreign Ministry,theVice-President ofthe Movement for Justiceand Equalityn (JEM) andSecretary of theCentral Region, Mr. SadiqYusuf Hassanand Mr./MokhtarMustafaSecretary of media in the Office of Justice and Equality Movement in French, met with , each ofMr./KenyattaToserManagement Officer, East and Central Africa and Sudan and ViceAfrica Department Mr.RichardCypraalOlofar theofficialdevelopmentand strategic planningattheMinistryofinternational Cooperationandtouched,the meetinghaddiscussthepolitical developments inSudan, thepeaceprocess, theproposedinitiativesthe political scene, the relationshipwith the state ofthesouth, the cease-fireand the Revolutionary Front.
Mr. SadiqYusufhasexplained thedeterioration of thecountrypolitically, economically andsociallybecause of thepolicies ofthe National Congress (NCP)in addition tothe genocide against the people inDarfur, andthe deliberate killing ofthe Khartoum regimeagainst the people ofSouthern Kordofan and Blue Nileandimpoverishmentdeliberatedestruction ofagricultural projectsin the central regionand the displacement ofpeople fromtheir farm lands.Mr./SadiqYusufAlso dealt with the positionofmovementof the peace processandthatthemovementhadpreviouslycommittedto engage intheDohanegotiations that initiative by French, butthe intransigence of thesystemledtothefailureofthe round of negotiations
and not tocommitmenttothecessationofhostilitiesandtheimplementationoftheframework agreement. As for thecease-fire Mr./SadiqYusuf, saidthegroupfiledaninitiativetostopthehostilitiestofacilitatethedeliveryofhumanitarianaid, but the government refused to do so. It alsodenied that they do not gettingany supportfrom theSouth Sudan, he added saying that we weresonsoftheone countrybutthefundamentalinjusticeandgenocide by the System led them toself-determination, when theKhartoum regimetalkaboutthis matter is trying tohidetheir failuresandtheir internal differences. Mr.YusufSadiq also stressed that the Revolutionary Front is factionsoperatein harmony andcohesionandhasafull coordinationwith thepoliticalforcesat inside home landand able to bring down the regime ifit’scontinuedintransigenceandrefusaltoobeythedemands of the people
At the end of themeeting Mr. SadiqYusuf thanked the French government for its attention totheissueofSudan; Mr./Kenyatta confirm thekeenness of Franceto supportthe completepoliticalsolutionandsitting of allthe conflict partiestoresolvetheissueofSudan.He also thanked thedelegation oftheJusticeandEqualityMovement, toattendthemeeting.
