Khartoum-Sudan’s Cabinet Minister, Ahmed Saad Omar, praised the role of Sudanese communities abroad in support of the national issues, describing them as good messengers and ambassadors to the people's diplomacy in introducing of Sudan.
During his address at the opening session of the Second Conference of heads of and representatives of Sudanese communities abroad organized by Sudan Expatriate Authority in Khartoum, Omar said that the Conference coincides with the great achievements made by the State on various levels despite threats facing country, revealing that the National Assembly has approved the investment law which took away all the obstacles facing capitals.
Sudan’s Cabinet Minister stressed that Sudan became open to foreign investments which will be encouraged by State, adding the recommendations of the Conference will full attention by all State organs.
For his part, the secretary general ofSudanese Expatriate Authority(SEA), Dr. Karrar Al-Tuhami, said that the aim of establishing of the Supreme Council of Sudanese Communities abroad is to unite communities in one entity which reflects voice of the Sudanese presence outside towards the national issues and resolving of the economic issues of expatriates.
Al-Tuhami stressed that establishing ofthe Council will help to reintegrate them into society, disclosing that more than (108) heads and representatives of Sudanese communities abroad participated in the work of the Conference
